Puppet Design

Puppet imagined for production of The Little Prince at California State Dominguez Hills, Fall 2017. Working with the director it was decided that we wanted to have a more ‘everyman’ rather than the typical caucasian boy and to represent our community more accurately. Hair is made from hand sewn upholstery trim painted and adorned with gold overlays. The body is made of a cotton fabric with an internal Skelton structure. Back pack and a neck strap were added to ensure the actor could control the puppet freely.
