Book cover of The Giver written by Lois Lowry. A simple color scheme was chosen to reflect the story. In the book, every member of the community sees in black and white apart from one boy who begins to see the color red and the book unravels from there. I wanted the cover to suggest the sterile environment that Jonas escapes.
