Vintage patchwork Hawaiian shirt style of the 1950’s and 1960’s selected to represent the fashion styles present during the Civil Rights Movement. Orange, yellow, and red colors call to mind feelings of excitement, enthusiasm, and warmth. Hawaiian and African prints were combined to showcase the Black Lives Matter Movement message with the traditional Hawaiian Hula performance.
